Everything Is Awesome!!!

If you haven't yet, check out The Lego Movie. Some people are very sensitive about what they hear before they see a movie (Edu), so if you are afraid of spoilers, here is my alert: Spoiler alert. Here's the IMDb link for information.

It is a hilarious movie. It takes place in a world made out of Legos. A world of perfection. Everyone has a job and follows the instructions when they are building their world. Emmet, a regular, everyday normal guy, is discovered to be the most "extraordinary person" and sent on a mission to save the Lego world. What's completely hilarious is how unprepared he is for this role. There are a number of great cast members and characters who help Emmet.

So what the take away? I believe you are extraordinary. We all have it in us. There is one thing that keeps us from being extraordinary: Fear. I listen to podcasts of very successful people who most state that fear is the number one reason we don't do what we are meant to do in this world. Here's a few: fear of failure, fear of success (yes, success!), fear they won't have a job, fear they will die, fear they will be judged. I want to know what you fear. If it is something scary, it's something you should push through and conquer. Trust me, writing this terrifies me. But I know I have to do it. I am becoming a better person.
